Newsletter 9/30/22

September: overall, a much needed slightly quieter month.

My highlights for this month, and what’s coming up next:

  • I took September off from events, but got a lot of exciting stuff scheduled coming up.
  • Next month: I’ll be teaching Service Schedules and Professional Standards for Service for Service Oriented Conference on 10/1, 24/7 High Protocol Dynamics for Wicked Grounds on 10/6, How to Learn Protocols on 10/15, Productivity for Service for SADEclasses on 10/18, and 24/7 High Protocol Dynamics again on 10/29.   • For Las Vegas TNG: an awesome guest host stepped up for September, and there were three of the usual munches this month.
  • Next month: we have two of our usual munches (the 3rd and 17th) and a Halloween play party on 10/27, if you happen to be 18-35 and local to the Vegas area (and a regular, for the party). Should be super fun!

Other updates from this month:

  • Celebrated several birthdays in the family! And had many fun social times overall.
  • Did butler school coursework.
  • Did a lot of baking, including yummy new recipes, and crafting. Got into resin casting for kink and other things, and making sugar scrubs for family and friends.
    • Working on perfecting some aerial silk tricks. Super fun, great workout.
    • Did all of the usual slave duties, and some really fun play.
    • Maintained my Little Free Library! It’s doing really well.
  • Did a lot of reading. This month, I especially loved Hurts So Good (Leigh Cowart), The Honeys (Ryan La Sala), and Life By Committee (Corey Ann Haydu).
    • Still having fun revisiting and editing some past works. I’m also creating one annotated copy of Contrivance just for fun.

Newsletter 8/31/22

August: wild month! Here we go.

My highlights for this month, and what’s coming up next:

  • I posted early access pieces for all of my projects.
  • I published my seventh book! Service Slave Secrets: Volume Two is now available on Amazon in Kindle and paperback form.
  • I started posting To Be a Deviser, the sequel to Contrivance.
  • Next month (edited): I’m mixing up my goals a little, but, more writing!
  • For SlaveClass, I taught two classes this month: Professional Standards for Service, and Service Schedules. Also, Mistress and I chatted about Living 24/7 High Protocol M/s with the CONsolation server. Thanks to everyone who came, and the CONsolation team for having us!
  • Next month: I’m taking September off from events, but I’ve been scheduling lots of fun stuff for October and beyond. In the meantime, find tickets for future events and class recordings on SlaveClass.
  • For Las Vegas TNG: two TNG munches this month—super fun!
  • Next month: as mentioned, I’m taking September off from events, but we have an awesome guest host who stepped up for September, so there will be three of the usual munches on the 5th, 12th, and and 19th, if you happen to be 18-35 and local to the Vegas area.

Other updates from this month:

  • Spent a lot of meaningful time with family and friends, including a visit with a friend from out of town.
  • Have continued to donate plasma.
  • I started a Little Free Library! It’s up and running and doing well.
  • Got some important medical stuff and things in the house sorted out.
  • Went to Arizona for a day trip to scope out an area for investing in our next rental property, and play tourist.
  • Did a vow of silence day.
  • Worked on butler school coursework, including making some really yummy recipes.
  • Read a lot. Special mention to The Bridge by Bill Konigsberg.
  • Still having fun revisiting and editing some past works.
  • Spent about a week in Boston by myself! Got to hit up a bunch of museums, bookstores, my old haunts, and more.

Newsletter 7/31/22

July: geez, where did July go? Didn’t I just write one of these? Well, here goes.

My highlights for this month, and what’s coming up next:

  • I posted early access pieces for all of my projects, and around 15,000 words across my projects total.
  • Some of my favorite standalone updates include:
    • “Schizophrenia in Creativity and Productivity” (for A Productive Hannah)
    • “July 6th” (for The Schizophrenia Diaries)
    • Next month: posting all promised early access pieces at least, and (probably) publishing Service Slave Secrets: Volume Two! And maybe starting a sequel to Contrivance?
  • For SlaveClass, I taught four classes this month: Productivity for Service, Butler’s Books, S-Type Files, and Other Service Records for Pragmatic Kink, Anticipatory Service for Wicked Grounds, and my new class, How to Learn Protocols. Thanks to everyone who came, and the Wicked Grounds and PK teams for all they do.
  • Next month: I’ll be teaching Professional Standards for Service on 8/6 and Service Schedules on 8/20. Additionally, Mistress and I will be talking “Living 24/7 High Protocol M/s” with CONsolation on 8/10. Find all the details on SlaveClass. See you there!
  • For Las Vegas TNG: three TNG events this month—two of our usual munches, and a play party (technically tomorrow, the last of the month). Fun month!
  • Next month, we have two of our usual munches on the 8th and 22nd, if you happen to be 18-35 and local to the Vegas area. Should be great!

Other updates from this month:

  • Did all the usual slave duties/housewife things.
  • Did some really fun scenes/play/Things.
  • Did some fun crafting and yummy baking and cooking, tried some new recipes. Made cinnamon rolls from scratch for the first time.
  • Soon to start Module 11 of the butler course I’m taking—cigars.
  • Been reading more. Recently loved Because Internet by Gretchen McCulloch and The Pursuit of Endurance by Jennifer Pharr Davis. Currently reading The Memory Librarian by Janelle Monáe and Experience on Demand by Jeremy Bailenson.
  • Went to San Francisco to visit my in laws. Got around northern California with hiking, boating, swimming, and exploring.
  • Took Psychological First Aid through the Red Cross.
  • Started the process of revisiting and editing some past works, if you notice any tweaks.
  • Started donating plasma. I’ve been going once a week.
  • Launched the webinars pages for The Schizophrenia Diaries and A Productive Hannah (links above).

June: strange but important month.

  • I finally got my driver’s license!
  • Did all the usual slave duties/housewife things.
  • Did some super fun scenes/play/Things.
  • Did some fun crafting, got into soap making (for kink and for normal use).
  • Did a lot of yummy baking and cooking, tried some new recipes. Currently in love with these brownie cookie things…
  • Have been enjoying my coworking space membership and have been super productive there, really enjoying the energy, community, and new people to test cookie recipes on.
  • Now on Module 10 of the butler course I’m taking—the bar and wine cellar.
  • Been reading a lot. Recently loved A Walk in the Woods by Bill Bryson and Girl, Interrupted by Susanna Kaysen.
  • Speaking of “a walk in the woods”—I got into hiking! I hiked Ice Box Canyon and Mary Jane Falls locally. Looking forward to more.

April: it wasn’t as wild as March, but still plenty of updates.

  • I posted early access pieces for all of my projects.
  • I launched a new site! I’m now writing productivity nonfiction on A Productive Hannah, especially about the related whys and philosophy, aimed especially at those who don’t fit the typical productivity mold.
  • New standalone short story: “What Happened Last Storm”.
  • For SlaveClass, I taught four classes this month: Professional Standards for Service (for the first time) and Productivity for Service (for the first time). I also taught 24/7 High Protocol Dynamics for Pragmatic Kink and Schizophrenia in the Scene for THRIVE (my first conference). Thanks to everyone who came and to the PK team for a great experience.
  • Posted a new SlaveClass elective: bootblacking.

Newsletter 3/31/22

March: super wild month.

My highlights for this month, and what’s coming up next:

  • I posted early access for an In Blood, Our Legacy chapter, a Service Slave Secrets blog post, and an I’ll Give You companion story on my Buy Me a Coffee.
  • I published two books in one week! Including that final companion story, The Second IGY Companion (short story anthology) and Contrivance (The Devisers and Their Secrets) (novel, includes three extra short stories) are now available on Amazon in paperback and Kindle format. These were my fifth and sixth books. I’m super excited about both. I’ve been working on Contrivance in various forms since 2011, over ten years ago, when I was thirteen, and completed the final five chapters this month to publish it just a few days ago. Thanks to everyone who’s grabbed a copy.
  • I launched a complete early access membership for every project that didn’t already have one. Thanks to everyone who’s subscribed.
  • Goals for next month: see to posting all of those early access pieces.
  • For SlaveClass:
  • I had four classes in March: Service Throughout the Day/Service Schedules for Pragmatic Kink, Drink Services, Anticipatory Service, and Schizophrenia in the Scene. I also ran SlaveClass Office Hours. I want to say thanks to everyone who attended, and thanks to Pragmatic Kink for having me. Unfortunately, I had to go shortly after we got started on the PK class due to Mistress having a medical emergency (all is well now), so class has been rescheduled. Big thank you to everyone who’s sent well wishes and again to the PK team for handling the class so well.
  • Half of ticket sales for Schizophrenia in the Scene go to the National Alliance on Mental Illness, so thank you to ticketholders for that class especially for your donation.
  • I also launched SlaveClass electives: short, on-demand-only demo videos that cover class topics in more depth. First video: bed making and turndown.
  • I was interviewed on the Erotic Awakening podcast about Anticipatory Service. Thanks to Dan and Dawn for having me; it was a blast.
  • Next month: I’m excited to be launching two new classes: Professional Standards for Service on 4/9 and Productivity for Service on 4/16. I’ll also be teaching 24/7 High Protocol Dynamics for PK on 4/1, and Schizophrenia in the Scene for THRIVE Conference on 4/24 (so excited for my first conference). See you there!
  • Locally, I ran five Las Vegas TNG (The Next Generation) events in March, including two munches, a game night at a board game cafe, a coworking space, and hosting a play party. Thanks to everyone who attended; we had a lot of fun this month. I also launched our group Discord server.
  • In April, I’ll be organizing two TNG munches (4/4 and 4/18), and we’ll have a rope class on 4/22 (thanks to our instructor), if you happen to be between eighteen and thirty-five, and local to the Vegas area. See you there!

  • I got my driving instruction permit early in the month and Mistress is teaching me to drive. Going pretty well so far.
  • I got my ham radio Technician license.
  • Finished Module 8 of the butler course I’m taking. Grateful for all the feedback, and having fun applying what I learn.
  • Renewed my Bloodborne Pathogens certificate.
  • Renewed my Fire Safety Certificate.
  • Attended several fun kink events.
  • Favorite book of the month: Hyperfocus by Chris Bailey.
  • Added some yummy new recipes to my repertoire.
  • More practicing with aerial silks. Currently practicing tricks off a basic footlock and hiplock. Super fun.
  • Did all of the usual slave/housewife routines.
  • Did some fun play with Mistress—scalpels, barbed wire, all that good stuff. We’re also starting to get places with orgasm on command training.
  • We started a kind of new/modified our twice daily inspection routine.
  • Selling our rental property, currently under contract, reinvesting soon.
  • Did some crafting.
  • Refreshing my piano skills.
  • Next month: more of the same, mostly.

February: what a month.

My highlights for this month, and what’s coming up next:

  • Locally, I ran two Las Vegas TNG (The Next Generation) munches in February. Thanks to everyone who attended—we had an awesome turnout this month.
  • In March, I’ll be hosting the TNG munch on March 7th and 21st, game night on March 10th, play party on March 18th, and coworking space on March 27th, if you happen to be between eighteen and thirty-five, and local to the Vegas area.
  • Other updates from this month:
    • Celebrated Valentine’s Day. Grateful to get to spend the day with Mistress and have fun.
    • Read: Personal Effects by Robert A. Jensen, Cherish Farrah by Bethany C. Morrow, and The Productivity Project by Chris Bailey. All awesome. Also, Wired, Food Network, Better Homes and Gardens, and Good Housekeeping magazines. So on.
    • Added some yummy new recipes to my repertoire.
    • Did some fun crocheting and crafting.
    • Learning how to sketch and doing a sketch a day, and loving it, adding some new mediums.
    • Have been getting some more exercise. More practicing with aerial silks.
    • Did butler school coursework (the 400-Hour Private Residence Butler Online Course through the International Institute of Modern Butlers). Applying what I’m learning.
    • Had fun and was productive at (DevynStone’s) Coworking Hours.
    • Studied for/currently passing practice tests for the HAM radio technician test.
    • Watched our little indoor garden grow, played with the kitties.
    • Did all of the usual slave/housewife routines.
    • Getting interviewed for a kink podcast later today—stay tuned.
    • We’re selling our rental property and buying a newer build.
    • Next month: hoping to get my driving instruction permit, my ham radio Technician license, finish Module 8 of the butler course I’m taking, renew my Bloodborne Pathogens certificate, and renew my Fire Safety certificate.

Newsletter 1/31/22

January: new year, lots going on.

My highlights for this month, and what’s coming up next:

  • I posted 25,000 words across my projects, including my blogs The Schizophrenia Diaries and Service Slave Secrets, and my fiction projects: the I’ll Give You series (lesbian M/s poly, consensual slave trade, and BDSM community oriented erotica), the Contrivance series (death game creators, dystopian mentor/protege), and the In Blood, Our Legacy series (lesbian M/s poly, sadomasochism magic, Harvard Law rivals turned pro Dom business partners).
  • This included my new most popular blog post on Service Slave Secrets, “24/7 High Protocol: First Thing in the Morning“. (Thanks, everyone!)
  • Next month: hoping to post 25,000 words again. Also hoping to complete the I’ll Give You standalone mini alternate universe spinoff, “Let’s Not Be Star Crossed Lovers“. (Summary: Clara, in a complicated but loving new dynamic now, runs into a beloved ex Owner at a high protocol event, who once left her for her own good. But some things have changed, some haven’t, and not everything is a coincidence. Poly ensues.)

Other assorted updates from my life this month:

  • Celebrated New Year’s. Since my mom and I both have January birthdays, we gifted each other half of a “staycation” and took a few days off in a local hotel (using travel points). On that note, I turned twenty-four!
  • Read: Win Me Something by Kyle Lucia Wu, Contagious by Jonah Berger, and Catherine House by Elisabeth Thomas (a new favorite!). Also, several of the TED Talk books, and Wired, Food Network, Better Homes and Gardens, and Good Housekeeping magazines. So on.
  • I changed my handwriting. No longer illegible chicken scratch, I took up an architectural lettering based style.
  • Gave the tenants notice to vacate and will be selling our rental property to buy a newer build.
  • Added some yummy new recipes to my repertoire.
  • Did some fun crocheting, sewing, crafting, photography, and laminating. I’m learning how to sketch and doing a sketch a day, and loving it.
  • Added a few new services to my routine lists.
  • Did butler school coursework (the 400-Hour Private Residence Butler Online Course through the International Institute of Modern Butlers). Applied what I learned and am getting into housekeeping DIYs.
  • Studied for/currently passing practice tests for the HAM radio technician test. (Just need a good opportunity to take it.)
  • Made a barbed wire flogger and got to play with it. So much fun!
  • Practiced aerial silks and learned a few moves. It’s fun, creative, and a good workout.
  • Finally got to make the appointment at the DMV to get my driving permit and learn to drive, now that my health stuff is more sorted out.
  • Took a weekend vow of silence. Read more here.
  • Got a new desk when my old one gave out/made a few fun changes in my office.
  • Watched our little indoor garden grow, played with the kitties.
  • Did all of the usual slave/housewife routines.
  • Next month: Valentine’s Day and more.

Newsletter 12/31/21

Been a wild December. Let’s see…

My highlights for the month, and what’s coming up next:

  • In December, I taught two classes: Anticipatory Service and my first run of Schizophrenia in the Scene. I was super excited to launch this class and really pleased with how it turned out. Thank you to everyone who came and participated for both.
  • Locally, I hosted three events for Las Vegas TNG, including the group’s first play party. Again, thanks to everyone who joined us.
  • Next month: I’m taking a break from events to focus on other projects, but I’ll be back in February.

Other assorted life updates from this month:

  • Had a very merry holiday season.
  • Our plant menagerie continues to expand.
  • Did a lot of fun crafting (sew/crochet) due to gifting season.
  • All of the usual slave routines.
  • Did work for the butler school course I’m taking (the 400-Hour Private Residence Butler Online Course through the International Institute of Modern Butlers). Really loving the housekeeping module, and have started sharing things about the course on Service Slave Secrets.
  • All of the usual landlord duties/really gearing up for another rental in 2022.
  • Started practicing with the aerial silks I got for Christmas! So much fun. I’ve got a single foot lock down, and a few tricks from there…
  • Reads of the month: The Forest of Vanishing Stars by Kristin Harmel, The Opposite of Butterly Hunting by Evanna Lynch, Company of One by Paul Jarvis. (They were all awesome, I highly recommend.)
  • Next month: I’ll be turning twenty-four.

Since it’s December, a 2021 highlight reel:

  • Started teaching kink education webinars! I taught twenty-seven classes this year, including events for awesome venues like TES and Wicked Grounds, and currently have a seven class repertoire. I launched all of the content on SlaveClass, including consults.
  • Launched Las Vegas TNG in May! We had twenty-one events this year.
  • I started going to butler school!
  • I made progress on all of my writing projects, launched several things including my fiction project In Blood, Our Legacy, and this newsletter. I also published three books.
