Newsletter 1/31/25

Happy New Year!

Writing wise, I stuck to my goal of writing for forty-five minutes per day (with a few exceptions for travel/etc). I made two posts on Service Slave Secrets and there’s lots more in the works!
Next month: I’m going to take the first week of February to put the finishing touches on, type up, edit, format, and post more works I drafted in January. Then, I’ll be upping my goal to writing for one hour per day for the rest of February (so it’ll be like I wrote forty-five minutes per day for the whole month). Keep up with my progress on TrackBear!

We had one Las Vegas TNG (The Next Generation) event this month: one of our usual munches. Thanks to everyone who attended!
In February, I’ll be hosting one of our usual munches on the 17th, if you happen to be 18-35 and local to the Vegas area.

For the Neon Cactus Wordsmiths, I hosted two Discord write-ins this month. Thanks to everyone who attended!

Newsletter 11/30/24

November: a great month!

Writing wise, I stuck to my goal of writing for forty-five minutes per day. I posted “Six Near Misses (In 24/7 High Protocol)” (which hit Kinky and Popular on FetLife)! On Archive of Our Own, I posted updates for Our Secrets and Our Silence (It All Became So Violent) as well as To Be a Deviser, and a new little I’ll Give You companion (as a chapter of While the Lights Were Off).
Next month: sticking to writing for forty-five minutes per day. Keep up with my progress on TrackBear!

This month, I taught “Productivity for Service” for Wicked Grounds and presented at FLAIR! Thank you to everyone who attended and the teams who made these events happen!
In December, I’ll be launching my new class, “Creating a Slave Uniform” on 12/8. I’ll also be teaching “The Butler Book and Beyond” for House Exeter on 12/9. You can also catch me on the Pragmatic Kink panel “Is It Community Service or Unpaid Labor?” on 12/5 and discussing “Protocols in Practice” on Dominance Dialogues on 12/12. October: where’d it go?

Writing wise, I stuck to my goal of writing for forty-five minutes per day. I posted “Tales From the Butler Academy: How Many Months Does It Take to Pour Wine?” as well as “The Worst Weekend” and updates for Our Secrets and Our Silence (It All Became So Violent).
Next month: sticking to writing forty-five minutes per day. Keep up with my progress on TrackBear!

I taught two classes this month: “How to Learn Protocols” for Wicked Grounds and a new class, “Creating Practical Slave Positions”. I was also on the community service/leadership at Service Oriented Conference. Thank you to everyone who attended and the teams who made these events happen!

Newsletter 9/30/24

September: what a month!

Writing wise, I stuck to my goal of writing one hour per day. I published my eleventh book, the final book in the I’ll Give You trilogy. I also started two new projects: The Meta and the Matrix and Our Secrets and Our Silence (It All Became So Violent). I also posted updates for To Be a Deviser, and “What We Talk About When We Talk About CNC Stigma” on Service Slave Secrets (which hit Kinky and Popular on FetLife), for a total of adding over 22,000 words across my projects.
Next month: adjusting my goal to writing forty-five minutes per day.

I taught two classes this month:”Contract Systems” for Pragmatic Kink and “24/7 High Protocol Dynamics” for MAsT Marietta Women. Thank you to everyone who attended and the teams who made them happen!

Went to several awesome events—munches, classes, play parties.
Did more crafting and baking, made some improvements in the house, and have been playing (and winning at) more chess.
It was Mistress’ birthday!
Made some good progress on the butler school course.
Did some really fun play! Here’s a video.
Made some important medical strides!
Enjoyed getting out a bit more in general, especially enjoying the cooler weather at parks, as well as dessert places, libraries, and bookstores.

Newsletter 7/31/24

July: what a month!

Writing wise, I stuck to my general goal of at least spending the time between my winddown routine and bedtime (or the equivalent) writing whenever I don’t have an event/conflict. I posted updates for the third book in the I’ll Give You trilogy, as well as a new standalone Contrivance companion, “As Long as You Name Me Victor“, posting a total of about 25,000 words across my projects. With that, I published my tenth book: Tales From Contrivance Headquarters!
Next month: sticking to my daily goal.

I taught two classes this month: “Tarot Reading as a Service” for Wicked Grounds and “Contract Systems” for Service Chats. Thank you to everyone who attended, and to the teams who made them happen!
In August, I’ll be teaching “Service Schedules” on 8/18 and “Professional Skills for Service” on 8/25. Both of these events are virtual and free. You can find all the details here. See you there!

I’ve been spending a lot of time outside this summer, including camping on Mt. Charleston and swimming at Cowabunga Canyon!
Did a lot of fun social stuff and have enjoyed getting out more.
Read some interesting books, including Polysecure by Jessica Fern, A Lesson in Vengeance by Victoria Lee, and All Girls by Emily Layden.
