February: what a great month!

  • Writing wise, I set out to take the first week of February off from my usual forty-five minutes per day goal to put the finishing touches on, type up, edit, format, and post more works I drafted in January, then up my goal to writing for one hour per day for the rest of February (so it was like I wrote forty-five minutes per day for the whole month). I stuck to this and also worked out a new system to keep that backlog from happening!
  • I posted about 18,000 words across my projects, including “It’s Just a Drill” on The Schizophrenia Diaries, Chapters 6 and 7 of Our Secrets and Our Silence (It All Became So Violent), Chapter 20 of To Be a Deviser, and a new standalone short story, “All We’ve Ever Been Is Us“.
  • Next month, I’m sticking with my new one hour of writing per day goal. Keep up with my progress on TrackBear!
  • I added a new “elective” to my on-demand class content this month, The Zodiac Tarot Spread.
  • Next month, I’ll be back for my third year presenting at the Leather Leadership Conference. This year’s theme is Level Up, and it’s happening March 14th-16th, 2025, in Los Angeles, CA. Join me for “Creating Sensory Friendly Events” and “The Literal Servant Leader”!
  • We had one Las Vegas TNG (The Next Generation) event this month: one of our usual munches. Thanks to everyone who attended!
  • In March, I’ll be hosting one of our usual munches on the 17th, if you happen to be 18-35 and local to the Vegas area.
  • For the Neon Cactus Wordsmiths, I hosted two Discord write-ins this month. Thanks to everyone who attended!
  • Next month, I’ll be hosting two more Discord write-ins on the 5th and 19th. If you happen to be a Las Vegas based writer, join us for those and more here.

Other updates from this month:

  • Here are some of my favorite photos from this month.
  • This month, my best read was The Anxious Generation by Jonathan Haidt. Keep up with my reading on StoryGraph!
  • In February, I went to some great events and had an amazing Valentine’s Day with my lovely wife.

Thanks for everything this month; have a happy, healthy, and safe March!
