August: fun month!
- Writing wise, I stuck to my general goal of at least spending the time between my winddown routine and bedtime (or the equivalent) writing whenever I don’t have an event/conflict. I primarily posted updates for the third book in the I’ll Give You trilogy.
- Next month: mixing up my daily goal a little bit to one hour of writing per day.
- I taught two classes this month: “Service Schedules” and “Professional Skills for Service”. Thank you to everyone who attended!
- In September, I’ll be teaching “Contract Systems” for Pragmatic Kink on 9/15 and “24/7 High Protocol Dynamics” for MAsT Marietta Women on 9/21. Both of these events are virtual and free. You can find all the details here. See you there!
- We had one Las Vegas TNG (The Next Generation) event this month: one of our usual munches. Thanks to everyone who attended!
- In September, there will be one of our usual munches on the 16th, if you happen to be 18-35 and local to the Vegas area.
- For the Neon Cactus Wordsmiths, I hosted two Discord write-ins this month. Thanks to everyone who attended!
- Next month, I’ll be hosting two more Discord write-ins on the 4th and 18th. If you happen to be a Las Vegas based writer, join us for those and more here.
Other updates from this month:
- I’ve still been spending a lot of time outside this summer, including camping on Mt. Charleston and swimming at Cowabunga Canyon! Did a lot of fun social stuff in general and have really enjoyed getting out more.
- Read some great books, including The Grandest Game by Jennifer Lynn Barnes.
- Went to The Smith Center for their tour and to see Company—both fantastic!
Thanks for everything this month; have a happy, healthy, and safe September!
