March: a big month for me!
- Writing wise, I stuck to my goal of at least fifteen focused minutes of writing per day. This month, I primarily posted updates for We Are All That We Have Lost. I posted over 10,000 words across my projects this month.
- Next month: it’s Camp National Novel Writing Month! I’m hoping for my eleventh win in writing over 50,000 words in a month.
- I taught special versions of two of my classes this month: “Values Based Productivity for Leaders” and “Anticipatory Leadership” at Leather Leadership Conference (LLC) in Atlanta, Georgia. I also spoke on the Emergent Leaders panel. Thanks to everyone who made my second time presenting at LLC so amazing!
- Next month, I’ll be teaching “How to Learn Protocols” for House Exeter on 4/8 and “The Butler Book and Beyond” on 4/14. Both of these events are free and virtual. (Thanks to House Exeter for having me back!) You can find all the details here. See you there!
- We had two Las Vegas TNG (The Next Generation) events this month: two of our usual munches. Thanks to everyone who attended and to our special guest host for the 11th!
- Next month, there will be two of our usual munches on the 8th and 22nd, if you happen to be 18-35 and local to the Vegas area.
- I hosted two Discord write-ins this month. Thanks to everyone who attended!
- Next month, I’ll be hosting two more Discord write-ins on the 6th and 20th, as well as two in-person write-ins on the 11th and 25th. If you happen to be a Las Vegas based writer, join us for those and more here.
Other updates from this month:
- We went on a two-week road trip and saw half of the states in the continental US! My wife and I drove from Las Vegas to Atlanta for LLC and then to New Jersey to visit my in laws and then back home. Such an amazing trip.
- My best friend came to stay with us for a week! Among other fun things, we hiked the beautiful Calico Tanks Trail.
- Read some wonderful books! One of my favorites was Happier at Home by Gretchen Rubin.
Thanks for everything this month; have a happy, healthy, and safe April!
