September—a bit of everything going on!
- Writing wise, I stuck to my goal of writing for at least fifteen focused minutes daily. I posted “At First, Schizophrenia Just Watches” to The Schizophrenia Diaries, “When Homemaking Is Productive” and “Hurricane Walks: Rambles About Gifted Kids” to A Productive Hannah, an update to IGY Book 3, and began a new IGY companion, “Dreamforged“.
- Next month, I’m keeping my goal the same.
- This month, I continued my hiatus from teaching live classes to focus on other areas of my life and my on demand content. Already working on the 2024 teaching calendar.
- Next month, the hiatus continues. Stay tuned for more about the on demand side of things—I’ve got a few outlines done…
- We had two Las Vegas TNG (The Next Generation) events this month: two of our usual munches. Thanks to everyone who attended!
- Next month, I’ll be hosting two of our usual munches on the 9th and 23rd, if you happen to be 18-35 and local to the Vegas area.
Other updates from this month:
- All of the usual/continued from last month. It’s still a big time for me medically, which is where a lot of my focus has been.
- Relatedly, I got genetic testing done and learned a lot about myself!
- Spent some great time with family and friends.
- Including: several loved ones had birthdays, including my wife. Also went to some fun events.
- Did a lot of work on house cleaning, repairs, and renovations.
- Did some yummy baking.
- Read some great books. My brain is still occupied by The Brothers Hawthorne by Jennifer Lynn Barnes.
- It’s officially NaNoWriMo prep season! Went to the LGBTQ+ writers meetup by NaNo HQ and have been prepping for November as a writer and local volunteer.
Thanks for everything this month; have a happy, healthy, and safe October!
